Sustainable Disadvantaged Development Foundation – SDDF is a non-profit and volunteer research and development organization that works for disadvantaged men, women, children, youth, disabled, and elder as well as indigenous and Dalit people. SDDF always promises to ensure peace, prosperity, productivity and fraternity for the world, planet and future generations which are ethical, humanitarian and sustainable from a social, economic and environmental perspective. We started our beautiful journey in December 2018. SDDF has been registered under the Joint Stock Companies and Firms under the Societies registration act- 1860.

Our theme

We believe that every person contains angelic qualities to beautify the planet and future generations.

We promise to bring sustainable, ethical and humanitarian changes for people, the planet and future generations.

We emphasize all surroundings of social, economic and environmental issues which make people poor, depressed and malice to development purposes.

We are highly interested in neglecting social content, human rights and people-centered development.

Professor Dr. Mohit Ul Alam

Short Bio: Mohit Ul Alam is the former vice chancellor of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University at Trishal, Mymensingh. He is a Shakespearean scholar as well as a great poet and writer. Alam passed his master’s and Honours from Chittagong University in English, and then secured another master’s degree in English from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Canada, and then he earned his PhD degree from Dhaka University.

He is a former professor of Chittagong University.  He was former dean of English and Humanities Department in the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and also the founder and chairman of Department of English Literature and Language in Premier University, Chittagong.

He has more than thirty books to his credit – fiction, poetry, and nonfiction, including books on teaching English. In addition, he has written columns published in Bangla and English dailies addressing current issues. He was a syndicated sports-columnist for Prothom Alo during the World Cup Soccer (2010) and ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, respectively. He has been the editor of the academic journal Crossings: ULAB Journal of English Studies.

I am very much pleased to welcome everyone from Sustainable Disadvantaged Development Foundation- SDDF. This is also a warm message that SDDF is such a type of platform where everyone has access to equal opportunity of humanity, dignity and justice for every person regardless of sex, creed, colour, or status. We believe that every person contains the immeasurable potential to beautify the planet and can keep a great contribution to people, the planet and future generations.

But unfortunately, several causes make people underprivileged and downtrodden as can be explained by illiteracy, injustice and unemployment. SDDF is concerned about this and promises to accumulate all types of strategies so that disadvantaged people can return to the mainstream of society and preserve their rights and responsibilities. Our slogan about humanity is implementing peace, prosperity and productivity instead of eradicating disparity, downtrodden and injustice. 

However, Sustainable Disadvantaged Development Foundation works for disadvantaged men, women, children, and youth as well as climate change and research and development. Ultimately, we emphasize sustainable, ethical and humanitarian action for people, the planet and future generations from social, economic and environmental perspectives. To procedure our activities we focus on solidarity, practicing and implementation.

Md. Hasan Ali is a dedicated member of SDDF who is a researcher of global affairs in international level. In his professional life, he is involved in multidimensional activities in more than 50 countries in research and development purposes. He is actively involved in his extraordinary activities. He is regularly dedicated to writing development-related articles and books. Recently, he received awards for acknowledgment of language discovery in domesticated animals from University of Chittagong.

Short Bio: With a purposeful career in the education space spanning over more than 20 years, PROF. (DR.) SHAULI MUKHERJEE has dedicated her life towards promotion of child-centric and activity-oriented education. A passionate educationist and a global thought leader with a background of setting up and leading new age K- 12 schools, Dr. Mukherjee had been the Founder Principal of Adamas World School and STEM World School, the first STEM school in West Bengal. Under her inspiring leadership, STEM World School had been ranked and awarded as the 2nd best International Day School in West Bengal by Education World. Dr. Mukherjee has also held senior academic and administrative positions in some of the reputed colleges of West Bengal. She ardently believes that the purpose of meaningful education is to develop lifelong learners, creative thinkers and responsible global citizens who are confidently equipped to face the challenges of an uncertain and constantly unfolding future. All through her career in education, Dr. Mukherjee had actively contributed to and spearheaded the process of creating a personalized, engaging and stress-free curriculum for learners of all age groups. Short Bio: Dr. ANDI ASRIFAN, S.Pd.,M.Pd. is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Teachers Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang (UMS Rappang) in South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

He is also the head of Students and Alumni Affairs of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang (UMS Rappang).  He received his Ph.D. (Language Education, Concentration in English Language) and the M.Pd. (Master Pendidikan/ Master of Education) from the State University of Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia in 2018 and 2011, respectively. He received his Bachelor’s degree (S.Pd.) in Faculty of Teachers Training and Education from Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, in 2007.

He got a sandwich-like scholarship at Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, IL, USA, in 2015. He has published some research articles in leading journals and conference proceedings, including Scopus and Thomson Reuters.

His research interest is in English Language Teaching (ELT), ESP, Linguistics, and technology in education. He is full membership of Himpunan Penerjemah Indonesia/ Association of Indonesian Translator (HPI-01-19-3105).

He is a Member of Laureate – Cambridge Online Language Learning Research Network (OLLReN). In 2012 – 2016, he was the head of the Educational Technology Department of STKIP Muhammadiyah Rappang. He was a Director of the Center for Language and Indonesian Culture of STKIP Muhammadiyah Rappang in 2012 – 2015. He was the head of the International Office of STKIP Muhammadiyah Rappang in 2015 – 2016. In 2016 – 2019, He was elected to be the vice-chancellor in finance and human resources in STKIP Muhammadiyah Rappang. Now, he is the head of Students and Alumni Affairs of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang. He is an editorial board member and reviewer in some International and National Journals.

Short Bio: Muthmainnah is a highly accomplished Assistant Professor at Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar in West Sulawesi, Indonesia. She has extensive experience as a lecturer, global speaker, and international leader. Muthmainnah has held numerous positions at her university, including Chairman of the Indonesian Language Department, Public Relations Officer, Director of Women's Centre Studies, Deputy Director of Quality Assurance Unit, and currently, Deputy Director of the Language and Character Development Institute.
Muthmainnah is also an accomplished author, having written 43 national and international books, published by esteemed publishers such as Springer, Emerald, Taylor and Francis. She serves as an international board member for various scientific innovation research groups and is a member of the United Nations Volunteers roster.
Muthmainnah has won over 100+ international awards, including Outstanding Professor, Outstanding Leadership, Best International Influencer, Best Emerging Professor of the Year, International Award for Working Women, and SDGs Warrior. She is also an honorary doctorate degree holder from Layahe University and the recipient of the Doctor of Excellence award from the Philippines. Moreover, Muthmainnah is a member of the United Nations volunteers’ roster and the advisory board of Indonesian education share to care volunteers.
Her research interests include developing literary work, instructional teaching material, assurance of learning (Assure), TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), ICT in education, digital education, and cybergogy.
Muthmainnah is an outstanding scholar with a Sinta (Indonesian Ministry of education and culture) score overall of 2052 and h-index 10. She is a strong believer in international collaboration and teamwork, making her an ideal candidate for various academic and leadership roles.

Mr. Mizanur Rahman

Short Bio: Mr. Mizanur Rahman is a Ph.D. research fellow at Rajshahi University. He also completed his M.A., honors and M Phil at the same university. He also received a scholarship from the reported university Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin of Iran. He started his career as an officer at RDP Finance and Investment Corporation and now roles as a Research  and Development Fellow at Dipto Chetona Bikash Kendro. Mr. Mizanur Rahman is a poet, fiction writer, columnist, traveler, translator, and essayist.

He is the Executive Chairman of Kabi Nazrul Sahitya Mancha, vice-president of Prosoon Sahitya Sangsad, also vice-president of the literary organization Abegh Pathchakra. Awards Received: Many awards as it can be mentioned Bangabhumi Sahitya Parishad Authority Awarded, Best Translator Medal-2018, Bangla Sahitya O Sanskriti Paribar awarded: Emerging Storyteller and Essayist Award-2019, Nazrul Charcha Kendra Barasat, North Twenty Four Parganas, West Bengal awarded: Nazrul Award-2022, received Special Honor from US-Bangla International Literature Forum-2022, Merit from Purba Muriya Sahitya Parishad-2022 and Research Medal from Samayer Sur Sahitya Academy-2022.
He has presented articles at more than seventy international conferences in universities of some countries including India, Iran, Australia, Pakistan, America, and South Korea. More than twenty research articles have been published in international peer-reviewed research journals. Mr. Mizanur Rahman is very intellectual and creative and has written poems in Bengali, English and Persian which have been published in reputed magazines and periodicals around the world. In fact, eight hundred articles have been published in Bengali newspapers and magazines published in various countries including Australia, Singapore, various provinces of India, Italy, France, the UK, USA.
