We give special priority to research; we believe that authentic and reliable research can bring expected changes in societies. Thus, SDDF has been proceeding with some kinds of research to bring positive changes among societies and communities. The several types of research that SDDF has been applied are given below.

Evaluation research:	Formative evaluation research, summative evaluation research, impact evaluation research.
Objective-based research:	Descriptive research, explanatory research, exploratory research.
Time dimensions research:	Cross-sectional research, longitudinal research.
Time series study:	Trend study, panel study, cohort study
Data-based research:	Qualitative research and quantitative research.
