Preventive care, nutrition support, and psychosocial services—delivered close to home and school.
Our History
Good health unlocks learning, livelihood, and dignity. SDDF strengthens community and school health with practical, people-centered services: screenings and referrals, maternal & child nutrition, and mental health & psychosocial support (MHPSS). We co-design solutions with local government, schools, and community leaders so families get the right care at the right time—without long travel or high costs. Our approach prioritizes prevention, inclusion, privacy, and safety, ensuring women, children, adolescents, and persons with disabilities can access services that fit their needs.
Our Core Programs
Community Health Camps & Referrals: On-site screenings, essential health education, and referral pathways with local facilities.
Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS): Psychosocial first aid, group sessions, safe spaces, and specialist referrals.
Why This Work Matters
Household health shocks can push families back into poverty, disrupt schooling, and reduce productivity. By focusing on prevention, early support, and rapid referral, SDDF helps families avoid catastrophic costs and helps schools keep learners engaged. Our design centers women, adolescents, and persons with disabilities, ensuring programs are accessible, confidential, and culturally appropriate.
