For many of us, winter is a season of nostalgia—cozy sweaters, steaming cups of tea, and warm blankets. We look forward to the cool breeze. But for the underprivileged families in our community, the dropping temperature isn’t a relief; it is a terrifying countdown.
Imagine trying to sleep on a damp, cold floor with nothing but a thin sheet to cover your children. Imagine the helplessness of a father who cannot afford a jacket to stop his daughter from shivering.
This is the harsh reality for thousands of people living on the streets and in the slums right now. As the cold wave approaches, their fight for survival begins.
The Sustainable Disadvantaged Development Foundation (SDDF) refuses to let them fight alone. This year, we are launching our Warmth Campaign.
We are on a mission to wrap our community in love and dignity. We are collecting funds to provide:
Heavy Blankets for families sleeping in the open.
Warm Sweaters and Shawls for the elderly and children.
Winter Care Packages (Vaseline, warm socks, and dry food).
